Umbrel Home Return and Refund Policy

This Return and Refund Policy applies only to the Umbrel Home product and does not apply to umbrelOS, any apps downloaded from the Umbrel App Store, or any other services provided by Umbrel, Inc.

At Umbrel, Inc., we strive to ensure customer satisfaction with our products. If you need to return an item, please review our return and refund policy below.

1. Return Conditions

You may return a product for a refund under the following conditions:

  • The product is in its original, unopened, and sealed packaging.

  • The return request is made within 14 days of delivery.

  • The customer bears the shipping cost for the return.

We do not accept returns for opened or used products, except in cases where the customer received a defective product.

2. Defective Products

If you receive a defective product, please contact us immediately. Umbrel Home comes with a 1-year limited warranty, which you can review here. Please note that local consumer protection laws may require a longer warranty period or specific remedies for defective products. We will work with you to resolve the issue, which may include providing a replacement product or issuing a refund in accordance with the warranty terms and applicable laws. For warranty claims and defective products, we will cover the shipping costs.

3. Initiating a Return

To initiate a return, please contact us via live chat on umbrel.com or email us at support@umbrel.com. Our customer support team will provide you with further instructions on how to proceed with the return.

4. Shipping

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs and any customs or duties incurred during the return process. For warranty claims and defective products, we will cover the shipping costs but not any customs or duties incurred during the process. We will provide a shipping label, or you may choose to ship the item on your own.

5. Refund Processing

Once we receive your returned item, we will inspect it and notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, your refund will be processed via Stripe, and a credit will be applied to your original payment method. Please allow up to 14 days for the refund to be processed.

6. Exceptions

Our return and refund policy applies to all items, including discounted or promotional items, unless otherwise prohibited by local consumer protection laws.

Umbrel, Inc. reserves the right to update or modify this Return and Refund Policy at any time. Customers should periodically review the policy for any changes.
